Digital-Euro

“We want to find the right balance between central bank and commercial money,” Nicolas de Labarre of the Banque de France said about the digital euro, at a conference today (September 12).

De Labarre is head of innovation and product support for European market infrastructures. Co-management of the digital euro by central banks and commercial banks is currently the focus of “intensive discussions”, he said on a panel at the Hyperledger Global Forum. An update on this will come soon, he added.
