Bank of Canada’s C$460m refurbishment on time and on budget – Poloz

A major three-year project to overhaul the Bank of Canada’s Ottawa headquarters is nearly complete and looks set to come in on time and on budget, governor Stephen Poloz said in the central bank’s annual report.

The renewal project is expected to cost C$460 million ($344 million) in total, with an additional C$150 million spent on temporarily relocating all of the bank’s roughly 1,600 staff. According to the annual report, C$395.6 million has been spent on the works to date.
