Iranian central bank not aiding terrorism: Tehran

The Iranian authorities have hit out at allegations that the country's central bank is aiding terrorists.

Leading media agencies reported on Friday that Tehran had dismissed allegations made by American, British and French authorities that the central bank was authorising transactions by blacklisted banks.

Mehdi Danesh-Yazdi, the deputy ambassador to the United Nations, told the organisation's Security Council that the claims that the institution and other banks were contravening earlier
