Strategic control processes often data driven
Processing is implemented quarterly or bi-annually across jurisdictions
Just over two-fifths of central banks “sometimes” utilise data for strategic control processes, the Strategic Planning Benchmarks 2026 find.
Respondents provided grades on the extent to which they make use of data in strategic control, the process of tracking progress towards strategic plans. Scores range from one (never) to five (very often) for an average of 3.3 across 41 central banks. Slightly over two-fifths of respondents say they use data sometimes (43.9%). It is used very often (14.6%)
