Team leaders increasingly involved in strategic plan implementation
Respondents commonly review plans and re-align objectives after strategic cycles
Most central banks’ strategic plans are implemented by departmental heads, but team leaders seem now to be more engaged as well, data from the Strategic Planning Benchmarks 2026 finds.
Half (50%) of central banks indicated that team leaders are responsible for the implementation of their strategic plans. The figure is up from the 35% reported in the 2025 benchmark.
