ESM’s Pacciani says public bodies must balance risk and mission

Public bodies must not forget careful risk management as they work towards achieving their mandates, according to Cosimo Pacciani, the European Stability Mechanism’s chief risk officer.

“As risk and finance practitioners, we need to interpret the political mandates and the policies in a way that is consistent with a strongly rated and viable institution.
