Communications teams use AI mainly for drafting

But use cases vary according to team structures

Central bank communications teams use artificial intelligence predominantly for drafting documents and social media posts, the Communications Benchmarks 2025 find.

Around half of communications teams say they use AI to draft documents (47.4%). Two-fifths of respondents also use the technology for drafting social media posts (39.5%). Communicators are least likely to use AI chatbots (10.5%). Nearly a quarter of respondents indicated no use of AI in their communications divisions.
