Communications Benchmarks 2025 – model banks analysis

Data breakdowns reveal trends in resourcing, social media use and AI adoption

One aim of the model banks analysis is to highlight similarities and differences in the data based on central bank size and levels of economic development. A few trends stand out from the Communications Benchmarks 2025.

As in most benchmarks, larger central banks have larger comms teams, on average – though the teams are biggest in the larger emerging market economy (EME) banks. This may in part reflect greater social media use by these banks, which report the widest range of social platforms
