Email, events and seminars top tools for internal communication

But few central banks have a mobile app for staff communication

For the third year in a row, email is the most popular tool for internal communication among central banks, data from the Communications Benchmarks 2023 shows.

All the 40 central banks that took part in the benchmarks said they use email for internal communication. Eighty-five per cent of central banks held “events and seminars” to communicate with staff, making them the second-most popular tools, up one place from the past year’s data. Platforms developed in-house (70%), including intranets
