Email top for internal central bank communications

In-house platforms, events and seminars also widely used

Email remains the top choice for central banks when communicating with their own staff, but other platforms and events are also popular.

To communicate internally with staff, all 35 central banks participating in the Communications Benchmarks 2021 answered that they use email. 

Most also said they use a platform developed in-house (31 central banks, 89%) such as intranet, as well events and seminars (30 central banks, 86%). Fewer but still well over half of respondents said they use a document
