Only 5% of central banks reveal individual bank stress-test results

Respondents share details of how stress scenarios are developed

Most central banks publish some details of their stress-test results, but only around 5% of central banks share the results from individual institutions, the Financial Stability Benchmarks 2025 show.

Data provided by 44 central banks shows 79.5% publish aggregate stress-test results. Two of these institutions (4.5% of the sample) also publish data on how individual banks fared in the tests. Additionally, 61.4% share the scenarios used in stress tests. Nearly one in five respondents (18.2%)
