Data automation at ‘moderate’ level in most supervisors

Over 70% of supervisors plan to upgrade data collection in the next year

The majority of supervisory authorities report a “moderate” level of automation in their regulatory data collection processes, indicating there is room for further development, the Supervision Benchmarks 2025 find.

Respondents were asked to rate their level of automation on a scale of one (no automation) to five (full end-to-end automation). The modal answer was a score of three, indicating moderate automation, which was reported by 16 of 33 authorities (48.5%). The average score was close to
