The Supervision Benchmarks 2026 reveal some striking examples of how supervision is changing. Perhaps most notable is the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence, which is now in use among some three-quarters of supervisors, up from just a quarter a year ago. Supervision is a document-heavy business, and the data shows that AI tools are most widely being used for summarisation and document preparation. Some 45.7% of respondents are also using AI for data analysis and nearly 30% are using it
