Inflation reports more frequent than financial stability reports

Clear majority of central banks also use ‘layering’ in key publications

Central banks tend to issue monetary policy or inflation reports more frequently than financial stability reports. The majority of respondents to Communications Benchmarks 2021 also use ‘layering’ in key publications.

As part of the benchmarks, Central Banking asked how frequently central banks publish bulletins and reports. 

Central banks tend to publish statistical bulletins most frequently – 15 central banks responded that they publish these on a monthly basis.

Most (14) central banks said
