The Network for Greening the Financial System (NGFS) released data and documents today (June 24) to help central banks conduct climate-related scenario analysis and stress-testing.

“As central banks and supervisors we have a responsibility to prepare for the potential impacts from climate change in a variety of possible future states of the world,” say Frank Elderson, NGFS chair, and Sarah Breeden, head of the NGFS’s macro-financial workstream, in an accompanying guidance document.
