The European Union should stop talking about Donald Trump and “roll up its sleeves” to mobilise its assets, the governor of the Banque de France has said.

François Villeroy de Galhau said in an interview on January 25 that the continent should be more confident in itself and play the “many cards” it has, such as its savings, the single market and its reservoir of talent.

De Galhau was speaking with French outlet Ouest-France after returning from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland
