Central Banking poll respondents back 'Grexit'
Narrow majority of 155 readers say Greece should adopt a new national currency
Greece is on the brink of agreeing a third bailout programme that will keep the country afloat and preserve its place in the eurozone – but most respondents to the latest Central Banking poll think it would be better off abandoning the euro.
Of the 155 voters 87 said the best option for the Greeks was to leave the eurozone and adopt a different national currency – possibly by returning to the drachma it ditched on January 1, 2001.
This would then raise the question of how the new (or old)
