IMF chief urges Argentina to resolve debt plan

The head of the International Monetary Fund urged Argentina on Tuesday to complete a $100 billion debt restructuring to sustain its recovery from economic crisis.

IMF Managing Director Rodrigo de Rato praised efforts by President Nestor Kirchner to stabilize Argentina following its 2001-2002 financial collapse, but said more work was needed.
