Afghan central bank to restrict capital outflows

Anwar Ahady, president of Afghanistan's central bank said Wednesday the Bank will impose a limit of the equivalent of 10,000 US dollars that any individual and organization can take out of the country.

Afghanistan's central bank has decided to control the flow of cash money out of the country in order to keep local currency market stable and prop up the value of its new currency, the bank's governor said on Wednesday.

A bank council decided at a meeting Tuesday to impose
