
Swiss-'Give central bank gold reserves to schools'
SWITZERLAND - Non-governmental groups in Switzerland have called for more funds to boost schools and research. They even make the audacious suggestion that Swiss National Bank reserves could be used as part of these funds.
Greenpeace and representatives of youth organisations said education was a key long term investment and helped the younger generation act in a responsible manner. The groups suggest using some of the excess gold reserves of the National Bank to pay for the campaign reported
