Less than third of supervisors ran resolution exercise in past year

But most in Europe and Americas have dedicated resolution team

Less than one-third of supervisors conducted tabletop or simulation exercises for resolution last year, data from Central Banking’s Supervision Benchmarks 2026 shows.

Among the 36 supervisors who responded to the survey, only 10 (28.6%) say they have run a resolution exercise over the past 12 months. Europe is the region with the most supervisors running exercises, with 40% of them having done so in the past year.

In a related section of the benchmarks, 27 out of the 37 respondents, or 72.2%, say
