Strategic plans widely integrated into staff annual reviews

Staffing averages just under five persons in strategic planning units

The majority of central banks embed their strategic plans in the annual performance reviews of at least some staff, the Strategic Planning Benchmarks 2025 reveal.

Nearly two-fifths of 39 central banks that supplied data link strategic plans to all staff annual reviews (38.5%). A third of respondents tie the strategic plan only to staff directly involved in strategic goals (33.3%). There is no link in 28.2% of jurisdictions.
