Events are top channel for strategic plan communication

But over half of plans lack a framework for communication

Central banks’ foremost mediums of internal communications on strategic plans are events and other channels, the Strategic Planning Benchmarks 2025 find.

Strategic plans are conveyed through events in 63.2% of central banks. Other internal communication systems are used at 57.9% of jurisdictions, and ad hoc emails at 52.6%. Respondents least often use regular emailed newsletters (21.1%) for communication.

Meanwhile, 55% of institutions say they have no communications “layer” or module contained
