Most central banks fund strategic plan delivery with standard budgets

Only two-fifths of jurisdictions have dedicated budget for strategic objectives

The delivery of strategic plans is financed through standard operational budgets in most central banks, the Strategic Planning Benchmarks 2025 find.

Three-quarters of respondents (76.3%) to Central Banking’s first strategic planning benchmark say they fund the delivery of the strategic plans through departments’ standard budgets.
