Fintech communication is most challenging for central banks

Central banks view fintech as greatest challenge, but rate monetary policy communication highly

Central banks tend to view their fintech communication as posing the greatest challenges. By contrast, monetary policy is seen as the least challenging area.

As part of the Communications Benchmarks 2021, Central Banking asked central banks to rate themselves on the effectiveness of their communications in seven functional areas. Of the 35 participants in the benchmark, 30 answered this question.
