Japan to trial blockchain-based central bank money settlement
BoJ’s Ueda says sandbox underway for ‘wide range of settlements’
The Bank of Japan is to trial the use of blockchain technology for settlements in central bank money and adjust part of its digital yen pilot programme, governor Kazuo Ueda has said.
