Investors pledge $510m to Singapore’s green investment fund

Central bank says venture will finance sustainable infrastructure across Asia

Global public and private partners have committed $510 million to a sustainable investment fund managed by HSBC and Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, the country’s central bank said on September 8.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) said the investments would fund infrastructure for renewable energy, electric vehicles, waste management and other green projects across Asia.
