BoK debuts bespoke AI for central bank use
Technology trained on Korean language inputs will aid research and compliance, Bank of Korea says
The Bank of Korea has launched an artificial intelligence platform designed for central bank use that it says will help its staff to conduct research, improve compliance, summarise data and translate documents.
The BoK said in a release on January 21 that it had developed the AI, dubbed Bank of Korea Intelligence (Boki), with domestic tech company Naver. In a separate statement, Naver said the AI was ready to enter full operation and would work on the BoK’s internal networks. To ensure security
