Expert says El Niño weather event likely to drive greater rate variability in 2027
The central banks of Kenya, Mauritius, Namibia and Uganda all held their key interest rates this week, in line with market expectations.
Kenya: The Central Bank of Kenya maintained the bank rate at 8.75% on August 11, its third consecutive hold.
