People: Bank of Greece approves new term for governor

Plus: change at the top in Vietnam, new general counsel at Netherlands Bank

The Bank of Greece has proposed that Yannis Stournaras be reappointed as governor when his term comes to an end on June 26. The bank’s general council agreed unanimously on the proposal following a meeting on April 20. His reappointment will now need to be approved by Greece’s council of ministers. Stournaras has been governor since June 2014.
