Prosecution service detains György Matolcsy on suspicion of breach of trust causing financial loss
György Matolcsy, the former governor of Hungary’s central bank, has been detained for alleged corruption.
In a statement on October 21, Hungarian security agencies said they were carrying out “co-ordinated investigative measures in the ongoing investigation into the crime of breach of trust causing a particularly significant financial loss”.
