People: Bunge made first deputy governor at Riksbank

Aino Bunge (pictured) has been appointed first deputy governor of Sveriges Riksbank. She is currently almost halfway through a six-year term as deputy governor, a position she has held since December 2022. The bank’s general council has also begun the process of recruiting a new executive board member following Anna Breman’s decision to leave the Riksbank and become the Reserve Bank of New Zealand’s new governor, with effect from December.
