RBI takes complaints system digital


The Reserve Bank of India has launched a new digital platform so members of the public can submit complaints about financial firms.

Governor Shaktikanta Das said in a statement the system should help discipline banks and other firms and give consumers a more transparent means of tracking the status of any complaints they submit.

Furthermore, the system will feed data to supervisors who can make interventions where necessary. “Various dashboards provided in the application will help the reserve
