Argentina launches digital platform to foster financial literacy

Central bank will use platform to promote use of bank accounts and electronic payments

The Central Bank of Argentina (BCRA) unveiled on April 23 a digital platform to promote financial literacy in the country.

The system is designed to encourage the use of bank accounts and digital means of payment, said the BCRA. The platform focuses on eight aspects of financial inclusion, ranging from free and immediate banking transfers to social security accounts, or accounts for governmental benefits.
