Founded as a paper maker in 1801 in Dalton, Massachusetts, USA, Crane now operates banknote printing, papermaking, security design and product authentication businesses from five secure sites in the United States and Europe. Crane Currency supplies security threads, security films, banknote paper, secure labels and complete banknotes to central banks and commercial organizations globally.
