Czechs criticise De Larosiere report
The De Larosiere report fails to take account of the need for one regulator to cover supervision of all sectors of the financial market, says a position statement from the Czech National Bank.
The statement says that the report proposes no measures to simplify the EU financial-market supervision architecture. The statement also stresses that the central bank strongly disagrees with the recommendation to replace the three Lamfalussy committees with three new European authorities.
The statement says
