NGO calls for changes to ESM’s governance
The European Union branch of the non-governmental organisation Transparency International (TI) has released a report recommending major changes to the practices of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM).
The report, released on March 6, listed 12 “key policy recommendations” that TI said would improve the ESM’s “transparency, accountability and integrity”.
In a statement, the ESM said that it had adopted just one, namely making it obligatory for the organisation’s managing director to disclose
