Lubomír Lízal meets with Václav Klaus

Lubomír Lízal, an economist at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences, on Tuesday was appointed to the Czech National Bank's Bank Board for a six-year term.

Lízal will replace Robert Holman, whose term at the central bank expires on February 12, as a chief executive director on February 13 and will be assigned a vote on the Bank Board.
