Riksbank’s Öberg to quit at end of this year

Svante Öberg, the first deputy governor of the Riksbank, is set to leave the central bank at the end of the year when his term expires.

Öberg has been a member of the Riksbank's executive board since January 2006. The central bank said he had notified its general council that he will not be available for re-election.
