Central bank documents stolen from Carney’s car


A bag containing central bank documents was stolen from Mark Carney, the governor of the Bank of Canada, after his car was broken into, the Bank of Canada said on Wednesday.

A spokesperson for the central bank told CentralBanking.com the incident took place during a business trip to Montreal on 1 November, when the window of his Chrysler 300 sedan was smashed and a bag containing some personal items and Bank of Canada documents were stolen.

The central bank said the bag had since been recovered
