Constâncio made new ECB vice president


Vítor Constâncio, the governor of the Bank of Portugal, will be the next vice president at the European Central Bank (ECB).

Jean-Claude Juncker, the prime minister and finance minister of Luxembourg, on Monday said the 16 eurozone ministers of finance had voted unanimously and quickly in favour of the Portuguese.
