Transparency will reboot bond markets: González-Páramo

In an interview with Credit magazine, a publication for bond investors, José Manuel González-Páramo, a member of the European Central Bank's (ECB) executive board said increasing the level of transparency in securities markets was crucial to correct persisting tightness in primary issuance.

"Transparency is essential to restoring the confidence of investors," he said.

"One of the lessons from the crisis is that investors did not correctly assess the risks of the collateral pools underlying ABS
