China Investment Corporation to invest in Apax: reports

China Investment Corporation (CIC), Beijing's sovereign wealth fund, is set to invest as much as €800m ($1.2 billion) in Apax Partners, a private-equity group, reports said.

The Financial Times reported on Thursday that CIC would acquire a small stake in the management company of the private-equity group in return for its investment.

A spokesperson for Apax had not returned CentralBanking.com's calls for comment at the time of going to press.
