Fed names new regional chairs

Federal Reserve named six new chairs for the boards of the regional Feds on Monday.

The central bank announced new chairmen for the Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Atlanta, Chicago and Minneapolis Feds.

The new chairmen are:
• Henri Termeer, chairman, president and chief executive of Genzyme Corporation, a biotechnology company, who will take the helm at the Boston Fed;
• Charles Pizzi, the president and chief executive of Tasty Baking Company, who will lead the Philadelphia Fed;
• Alfred Rankin
