Goodyear and Temasek part, strategy differences blamed
Temasek, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, announced on Tuesday that Chip Goodyear, a former CEO of BHP Billiton, a mining company, will not become the fund's new chief executive.
"Four months into the leadership transition, the Temasek board and Goodyear have concluded and accepted that there are differences regarding certain strategic issues that could not be resolved," said the fund.
Goodyear's appointment was announced on 1 February. He was to succeed Ho Ching, the wife of Singapore's prime
