Tories would cull the FSA

The Conservative Party in Britain has said it will abolish Britain's financial regulator, the Financial Services Authority (FSA), if the party wins power at the next election.

In a party white paper, released on Monday, the Conservatives further outlined their proposals for regulatory reforms, explicitly stating that they would scrap the financial services watchdog, created by the Labour government when it came to power in 1997.
