IMF asks to take part in Bank Indonesia bill talks

The International Monetary Fund has asked to participate in the process of amending Indonesia's central bank law, a legislator said.

"IMF telephoned me asking that it be allowed to offer inputs in amendment discussions," said Theo F. Toemion, chairman of the parliament's special committee on the amendment of the central bank law.He said he suggested that IMF attend with the representatives of the government.
