Govt and bank move to cut deadlock in Romania

ROMANIA - The Adrian Nastase Cabinet approved in a 16 August sitting a programme of action in conjunction with Romania's central bank BNR to diminish the financial deadlock.

The programme was designed by the Ministry of Public Finance, the BNR and other ministries and social partners based on the objectives of the ruling programme and the social deal signed in 2001.
