Bank of Israel calls in the cops

The Bank of Israel has submitted a formal complaint to the Israel police after an internal report on the new-appointed banking supervisor was leaked to the press.

The leaked report raised questions about the appropriateness of the appointment of Rony Hizkiyahu, who was named as head of banking supervision at the central bank by the governor, Stanley Fischer, on 19 November.
