Pakistan central bank allows evening banking

Pakistan's central bank on Saturday allowed evening banking, extending regular banking hours till late in the evening to facilitate the general public.

" has been decided that the banks may allow the banking services to their clients from 2.30 p.m to 8.30. p.m.", the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said in a statement. Banks in Pakistan usually close commercial dealing with their clients at 1.30 p.m. The SBP statement said all evening transactions would be the part of the banks' "trial balance
